Delectable Drink Recipes

Take a look at these delicious drink recipes, they are all non-alcoholic so are suitable for children too view, they will cool down your guests, before or after they take a dip in your pool!

Strawberry Dream


3 cups unsweetened orange juice

3 cups frozen strawberries

2 tsp fresh ginger, minced

2 cups chilled sparkling bottled water

Mix orange juice, strawberries and ginger in blender. Pour into 2 pitchers> Stir the sparkling water into each pitcher before serving.

Apricot Milky


1 cup milk

1/2 cup canned apricots, drained

1 cup crushed ice

Combine ingredients in blender. Blend on high until smooth.

Citrus Zing


5 lemons

5 limes

5 oranges

3 quarts water

1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar

Dissolve the sugar in two cups of hot water. Squeeze the juice from 4 of the lemons, limes and oranges, pour into a gallon container. Thinly slice the remaining fruit and set aside for garnish. Add water and sugared water to the juices, mix well. Store in refrigerator. Serve on ice with fruit slices.

Lemon and Berry Cooler


14oz frozen blackberries

16oz jar maraschino cherries

1 1/4 cups sugar

3/4 cup lemon juice (about 5 lemons)

1/4 cup lime juice (about 1 large lime)

3 cups water

Process first 5 ingredients in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Pour fruit mixture through a wire mesh strainer into a pitcher, discarding solids. Stir in 3 cups of water. Serve over ice</

Raspberry Sparkle


12oz frozen raspberries ( about 3 cups

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

1 1/2 tbsp grated lemon peel

1 cup lemon juice

1 litre bottle chilled sparkling water

ice cubes

fresh raspberries and lemon slices to garnish

1. Combine frozen raspberries, sugar and 1/2 cup water in pan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and berries thaw. Increase heat and boil for 3 mins.

2. Strain raspberry mixture into bowl, pressing solids to extract as much liquid as possible, discard solids left in strainer.

3. Mix lemon peel into raspberry syrup in a bowl, chill until cold.

3. Stir raspberry syrup, lemon juice and sparkling water in a large pitcher to blend.

Serve over ice garnished with the raspberries and lemon slices
